Their argument is more that there's too much rape of women, and any arguments that justify it would apply equally to men, which makes it hard to take those arguments seriously.

But there isn't even any, it is just implied. And considering how fucked up that world is (a lot of people are forced to do things), it is ENTIRELY plausible that would happen. What other reason would they keep a bunch of women locked up?

But as OP of this subthread points out, if it's plausible that there would be rape of women, it's 100% equally plausible there'd be rape of men. But that side of things isn't even implied.

The women are only being raped in order to make babies. Literally only one man (Joe) is raping them, the rest of the time they wear chastity belts and the religious nutjobs are ordered to never touch them.

It is not 100% plausible for the people of the city to use men in the same way as the women because they cannot get babies (and milk, giant trade in milk) from men.

Similarly, the bg rape of furiosa - cut from the movie thankfully - stopped when it was found out she was infertile so they found another use for her - turns out she's great at driving and killing, so that became her job. If she was O- she'd be a blood bag. If she was old and disabled she'd probably be ditched with the other beggers. Or put to work turning the wheels.

All the trafficking of all the people in this movie was around the "best benefit" that could be get out of them.

Now if the men could get pregnant from rape or become universal donors, i'm sure it would have been implied.

You have it backwards. MRAs are the ones who, reliably, want to make things WORSE for the gender they perceive as having an advantage. Too few men's shelters? CLOSE DOWN WOMEN'S SHELTERS. Thus, the argument AYRT was arguing AGAINST was closer to an MRA position, just genderswapped.
