For other people, Vanilla WoW.

There is so much rose-tinted nostalgia with a lot of the older players for back then about 'how much better it was', which it wasn't, different yes, but not better. Granted I do miss some of the old stuff like class-specific quests and the community feel of each realm, but I also don't miss how hard leveling was(I wouldn't' change how I leveled my first character but you couldn't pay me to go back to that model) or doing any end-game content. The players have grown up, gotten jobs and have families, they can't spend 30+ hours a week on the game anymore and the game has adapted to that.

As for myself I think some of the old cartoons and shows I used to watch really don't hold up well at all, oh and my Goosebumps and Animal Farm books, ooooh so bad. But I still kind of love them.

I can understand those folks a bit because I have super nosalgia for WOTLK. BEST EXPANSION EVER!

I bet the Goosebumps show is especially terrible. O.O

Oh yeah I don't think missing things is bad, but the constant harping on about 'how things were better' gets old, real old. WotLK was a pretty good expansion though and had some amazing quests.

Oh my gaaaaawd. I hadn't even considered the show, I need to watch it again. For science.
