What everyone said. I loved Forever and I refuse to watch Gotham, but.....different networks, different expectations. Gotham's ratings were decent for Fox (though with the downward trend they seem to be on, they may not be so lucky next season), and it was also renewed early when the ratings were higher than they were when the season ended. Forever's ratings were really low for ABC. It was the second lowest rated drama on the network by the end of the season (next to Revenge, which was also cancelled).
