*squints at you* ???????? ????

I'll agree it's not feminist cause it was better than feminist but I'm not sure how you can walk away from 6 women escaping captivity with the phrase WE ARE NOT THINGS who join up with a biker gang of old women and take over the capital and still come to this conclusions.

Ergo you're really stupid or a troll.

But I am pleased to see wank about something i like for once. Will come read it all in detail later

Some people have the ridiculous notion that if a movie puts a female character in any harm then that movie hates women. But in the action genre, that's how it works. Characters are put in harm's way and they have to fight to get out.

And I love this movie. Especially when the Vuvalini show up. When they came up on their bikes I was like, "Hey, they are all women. Wait, they are OLDER women. OMG, badass grannies on bikes! I LOVE IT!!!" Because when do you get to see older women play this type of role? Never. Oh, 60+ Liam Neeson can jump off moving vehicles and punch his way out of mobs of mafia thugs but we rarely see the female version of this. You have Red and that's that.

I was quite surprised at how many of the women lived actually! it's a mad max movie. I expected more of them to die in ridiculous cheesy overdone glory! But the one who did was the sad serious death of the movie :(

The vulvani though. Damn I wanna be that badass when I grow up.

More movie spoilers.

Yeah, but they were innocents. And in the Mad Max movies, most of the innocents make it through. Like you have the Oil Village people in Road Warrior, most made it through. And the nicer Lord of the Flies village in Beyond Thunderdome, most made it through too.

I was surprised that a certain War Boy didn't make it through. I thought for sure he was going to ride off into the sunset with Capable.

That is true, I forgot that. I think I'm so used to the women being harmed for male protags that I just assumed out if habit it'd be a tragedy ending of manangst for furiousa and max (I LOVED her lone screaming manangst moment because you never see a serious woman angst it's always hysterics and some man calling her down so I really appreciated her generic stoic main char moment)

At first I was tentatively hoping then I was like awwww yeah he's gonna join them but then when we met his "friends" I was awww...he's not gonna make it. But he had his moment of Valhalla!
