tbqh your mom sounds like a jerk :(

I also wonder why she and your dad are together/married (whichever) in the first place if they're fundamentally sexually incompatible.

On the bright side - you mentioned you wanted to be in a relationship with a guy, and your dad is a guy who you think is ace, and that means ace guys exist! And you can probably find one, even if it takes some time. :)

Sorry you're going through that, though. That just does not sound like fun at all.

She's said she knew what he was like when they first started dating but she hoped he would change after they got married. Why she thought that, I don't know.

I guess I felt like it's so rare that I'm unlikely to find someone who's asexual that I'm also compatible with in other ways, but maybe there's someone out there somewhere.

Thank you. It's definitely not fun, but I'm hoping I can figure out a way to just not let it bother me.
