Even if an opinion is wrong, people ARE entitled to have it.

However, I do get annoyed with "well it's my opinion!" being trotted out when someone else tries to argue that that opinion is bigoted, acting on it leads to harm, etc. Of course you're entitled to have it; that's not the point here...

A related issue: why do people with loathsome opinions always want to bend your ear about them--even when it means injecting them into a conversation where they're not even relevant?
