Re: Inappropriate questions
I did occasionally try to go into GSM spaces online, but the lesbians there tended to be overwhelmingly hostile and aggressively unwelcoming to bi women, so I never engaged in any flirtations online or anything like that because I learned better than to let on to being bi where gay women congregated, and I wasn't gonna lie and say I was a strict lesbian.
By the time I was in a place where I COULD have dated a girl (provided that I didn't mind the fact that it would likely at least partially cut me off from most of my family and quite a few of my friends), I was already involved with my boyfriend. I love him and I don't regret involving myself with him, but sometimes I wonder what it would have been like if I could have explored that part of me before we got together.
