Exercising regularly. It's good for me and I feel better when I get regular exercise, but I don't enjoy it at the time. :(

God do I HATE exercise.

I'm so self-conscious and I've been told I run funny.

And it makes me feel so fat -- I hate the jarring impact of my feet hitting the ground and the way everything jiggles (and I'm not even overweight anymore).

Right???

And also like... there's literally no place I could even conceivably go to run that wouldn't be full of far, far, FAR more fit and intimidatingly good-looking and intense people also exercising and i can't deal with that

What I HATE is when people suggest swimming as an alternative.

Yeah...I really want to be exercising in front of others wearing ever LESS clothes.

Not to mention the unholy amount of grooming I'd have to do because a bird could fucking build a nest in my bush.

DA

Bodyweight exercises are great and you can do them right at home with no equipment.

DA

What do you mean specifically by bodyweight exercises?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bodyweight_exercise

You won't get bulk without added weights but they're great for toning or losing fat.

http://i.imgur.com/4LeMVAW.jpg This kind of thing. Note: use as reference/example for types of exercises only, I am not advocating the routine described here

Yeah, but I always feel like I'm doing them wrong and people warn you that if you do, you could injure yourself :/

It's one of the things that really worries me about weights/lifting/bodyweight exercises to be honest.

I'm still doing it, but sometimes I hate it.

If I had a nice park right next to my house that I could walk through with headphones on, I would love it. (Parks are great, I love being out amongst pretty flowers and trees and getting to listen to some fun music and walk, but the best parks are 30, 40 minutes away from me.)

Working out at home gets tiresome, especially since some days I get up at 5 AM to work out before showering. Getting up that early is bad enough, but working out right after waking up? Ughhhhhhhhh.
