Space hoppers/moon hoppers/ hippety hops/whatever you want to call them. Maybe the number of names is what confuses people. (Mine was called a Big Bouncer. I got my bald spot by riding it down a staircase.)

Yeah, those bouncing toys were a big thing in the 80's. There were all kinds of rubber balls with various plastic handles or discs attached.

God, I busted my tailbone falling off one of those things and it was some of the worst pain i ever felt in my poor little life that that point.

We used to live across the street from a gas station when I had mine, and I was constantly over there topping up the air with the tire pump to get a better bounce.
