Are they canon in this show? Just curious. (Original Scooby Doo got on my nerves so much that I don't think I will watch this, but I'm pretty sure Fred and Daphne were canon in it)

You might actually like this series. It's really good and the characters actually have..well, character. In here Fred is really dense and obsessed with traps (hah) and eventually smartens up about Daphne's feelings. It's only two seasons and has an over arching plot. It also explains why the original series was the way it was. (This one takes place in an AU that merges with the first timeline)
