Super rapey bad fic. Copius amounts of it with cheap angst and chockful of OC's. Especially for my rare pairs. Why is this the only fic for my rare pairs?

Like: badly injured character x gritting their teeth and bearing it as a severely injured and unconscious character y, who they have feelings for, is possessed by character z, who uses y's body to impregnate x and other hinky stuff.

Or: Swapping the ages of x and y, then widening the gap and having the now 9 year old x seduce their 22 year old babysitter y. (I did not even click to peek in as I usually do for anything with x/y after reading the summary for this fic)

Changing the ages of characters... why do people do that? If age gap is your kink, wouldn't it be better to find existing characters who represent that dynamic? Why mess with a same-age pairing so that what is in canon a very balanced and healthy friendship suddenly becomes creepy student/teacher nonsense? I think age difference can mess with character dynamics even more severely than genders, to the point where I don't even recognize the pairing I supposedly ship anymore.
