Actually, if he's bleeding out at the time, I could buy him thinking all sorts of weird things. Generally yes, though, those descriptions always seem to pop up at bizarre moments. If you're in the middle of a red-alert security breach and the exhausted person facing you has a gun to your head, I doubt their shining orbs and luscious curves are going to be the first things on your mind. The gun to your head is probably more of an immediate concern.

Exactly. I just cannot stand that 'X sees Y and instantly categorizes their looks/everything about them/lusts after them'. That might work in some situations but not in *every single first meeting ever*.
