Time-Traveler's Wife is the first one that comes to mind. Movie and book, though the book is much more tragic.

Time-Traveler's Wife exists in a weird little bubble. Within the experience of reading it, it seems cute and wholesome. Discuss it with someone else, and Henry's transition from much older childhood mentor to love interest seems a lot more creepy. (Granted, it does help that Henry repeatedly rejects the idea of abusing Claire's trust in him.)

I* was never really bothered by that, because like you say, he was never inappropriate with her or tried to push her one way or the other. And he met her young self after falling in love with her grown self, if I remember correctly.

To me the real part of this story that's the tragedy is how Clare ultimately just spent her whole life waiting for Henry. And I don't mean that as a negative on the book - I really liked the book! - it was just a tragic love story.

* Didn't realize I was anon for the original suggestion.
