The first one I remember reading was a Gargoyles fanfic series. It was written as a continuation for the series (ignoring the Goliath Chronicles) and I liked it a lot. PG-13 like the series.

About at the same time I found DS9 fanfic and hardcore slash porn, which garnered a Holy Shit what the Fuck reaction. It was Garak/Bashir (what else), but I can't remember anything about it.
