I have Inquisition on PC and I still haven't bought it yet. I haven't updated to the latest patch either because I'm worried it's going to make the game unplayable.

I should probably just update and buy it (Though a friend was going to buy it for me as a late birthday present, they haven't sent my gift yet)...

I see nothing wrong with you playing on last gen, though? If that's what you have you might as well use it.

Enjoy, when you play!

I haven't had any problems with the latest patches. Bit sad I can't dupe rune mats anymore, but at the same time, I can't fault them for patching exploits that probably should have been fixed before release.

I don't see the problem with me playing on last gen either. The guy at GameStop (and a few people on the internet when Jaws was first announced) got all up themselves about how the game being on last gen too was why it sucks so bad though, so I'm sick of hearing about it. Besides, I like my Xbox 360, it has Skyrim and the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection. When PS4 has both of those, I'll consider upgrading sooner rather than later.

I got to play a little bit this morning before I had to make myself sleep before work (responsible people totally go to bed at 7am when they need to be up before 11am). What I got to experience of it was great. :D

The woman at gamespot wanted to fistbump when I said I was picking up the PC version; I thought it was odd. I do prefer Dragon Age on PC, but that's just personal preference; I played Mass Effect on 360 and loved it. (Though I still wish I owned the PC version too, I don't want to buy it again.)

It shouldn't matter where you play, it's the same game.

I've heard the DLC wasn't heavy on the story so I'm not expecting too much in that regard, but it still sounds worth a try. I def want to get to it, thought it might not be soon.

I'm glad you like it so far! I've heard mixed reactions.

To be fair, the first two Dragon Age games had a much smoother user interface than the consoles. The advantages of being able to click various commands were just superior, especially if you play something like mage.

Plus all the mods! :D I can't imagine playing without fun mods.

Though I'm not sure how different Inquisition actually is. And last time I checked no one had really figured out how to mod it yet.

The first Dragon Age in particular had SO many abilities that I don't understand how a wheel would work. I remember having the entire bottom of the screen filled with icons, lol.

Inquisition has a pretty strict limit on that though, even on PC, so I suppose the experience might not be so different this time.

The thing I like though, is the ability to screencap. So, SO many screencaps...

And there are mods now, but so far they seem kind of limited? And I hear people complain that every new patch screws them up, so it probably isn't the best modding experience.
