My parents had the internet until 1990, when my older sister turned two. She was old enough to get on the computer by herself and get to her favourite games, so they sat down and decided they didn't need the internet with young children. Twenty-five years later they still haven't gotten it again. Thanks to that I wasn't exposed to unfiltered, unmonitored internet until I was almost 16. I stumbled upon some very Mary-Sue Harry Potter fic on quizilla at that point and never looked back. Jumped right in to the porny stuff and happily floundered there in a sea of teenage hormones.
