OT but...I remember leaving a comment on YT years ago for this scene, and I wrote down that it was a tough relationship but who could really deal with such a messed up relationship and I thought the scene was well done, you really feel for Kay. And then a couple people were all, "LOL Why are you taking this so seriously? Grow up, loser." It was the early YT commenting years for me, so it really hurt my feelings. =( Sorry for the OT, but seeing this just reminded me of that.

Don't worry, OP. I was pretty heartbroken, too. I also read the book before watching The Godfather Part II so I felt a lot more for Michael and Kay's relationship.
