I never noticed that...though to be fair, the only way I see this is if I happen to leave PBS running after Odd Squad.

I applaud your dedication, OP.

Is there much of a fandom for this? I loved Zooboomafoo when I was a kid, but this seems in about the 4-7 age range?

Well, wouldn't be the first time a kids' show is popular in fandom, and won't be the last.

There is surprisingly a large amount of fic and fanart for this show. Check out DeviantArt and fanfiction.net

Hell yeah, Zooboomafoo was the shit whenever I would get out from school. B^D

The Kratts are making another children's wildlife show that isn't Kratts' Kreatures?

... is it better than Zaboomafoo, at least?

Dude, Zaboomafoo was for LITTLE kids. Kratt's Kreature's was for an older children's audience, more late adolescence before you hot your teens.

Both shows were good for what they were.

They're like a super power in a way of how it's like being able to tell what's going on inside an author's head just from a few words. On the other hand, trying to make a living as an English major? Lol good luck :p

I'm making a living! By using those skills to. . .write marketing copy. It could be worse, but it's not exactly soul-stirring. Which is why I have to write lots of wanky meta about what I watch on TV.

So I have no response to the actual secret (and this is a really late reply), but an 80-odd-year-old former Air Force nurse who later did research for NASA and who now is a long-term patient at the facility where I work watches this show without fail. And I have been curious about it, because it looks adorable and I need something new as background for when I do homework.

I watch the show sometimes. So long as you're ok with the fact that it's a kid's show, it's a nice little pick-me-up. The art design is actually really impressive and stylish (which pleases my outer adult), and you learn about animals (which pleases my inner kid). What's not to love?

Totally recommend giving it a watch. :)

AYRT

I love the art design - it's super cute and definitely very stylish. I like the kid shows for homework background because I don't need to pay a lot of attention to them to enjoy them. :)

The art design for this show makes me think of a blend of Kim Possible and Danny Phantom.

All I can say about this is I watched this show a few times by accident and kind of passively shipped the guys and then I found out they're basically real brothers playing themselves in a cartoon and then I felt like a creeper...
