Me too, anon. They had such a fascinating chemistry. Not "romantic", but strangely intimate.

There is a FANTASTIC fanfic that involved the two of them really getting each other. Not romantically but their deep understanding of each other really informs the story. No, I didn't write it but it's one of my all-time favorite ffs--called The Poor of God.

I also like this ship despite it being het. There are a few nice fics which helps too.
Hate when Harry paired with Gabrielle though.

Hmmm. Harry wasn't attracted to her at all, even when her Veela powers were pointed at him. I could get behind Ron/Fleur, but I'd need some believable development of some sort of friendship or something where they actually talk and get to know each other and then we see him attracted before I could buy it.

I loved that Harry defended her as being smart and capable when Hermione and Ginny were blasting her in HBP. That is the kind of man I want, because I do think he really wasn't defending her out of romantic feeling.

I really liked that as well. The friendship between Fleur and Harry didn't get a lot of focus, but I thought what we saw of it was really sweet. They both clearly had an immense amount respect for each other after facing the Triwizard tournament together and their genuine and platonic enthusiasm to be around each other was cute
