if you met your child self now, what would you think of each other

That is...a very interesting question.

My child me might not technically recognize me...in the sense that we dress quite differently, I go by a different name now, different hair colour etc.

I think my child self would be disappointed at worst, and confused at best? Probably disappointed I'm not a doctor at least? And think I look a bit intimidating?

Vice versa...I'm not very good with kids, so even as myself, I'd probably think my younger self is annoying to some point.

Though I think I'd appreciate her energy and boundless optimism in a sort of wistful way.

Well, depending on how you define heterosexuality, there's some trans girl that definitely read as "I'd tap that' on my radar. (And one of my exes would definitely fall somewhere in the genderqueer or trans umbrella, though they're non-trasitiong).

Though I always find that a bit tricky, and honestly a clusterfuck in terms of sexuality because technically I'd say that physically, it's the male elements I'm attracted to (and that might not be the aspects they'd want you to be attracted to!)

As for actual crushes on girls...no, but then, my crushes in general are few and far between.
