39) When I was in that fandom, I felt that Kagura, Miroku and Kikyo were the only really interesting characters in the show. But then two of them died and for the other, it's not looking good. So now I hate the series. A lot.

I gave up on Inuyasha like so long ago. Mainly because it just went on for so long.

Is she going to kill Miroku, or did she kill him? Because honestly, I think I would want to hit that woman, the only reason I stuck with the series as long as I did was because I wanted to see Miroku and Sango have a happy ending and really hot sex.

And if he dies/dead, than I think I would see red.

Same. I never finished the anime and stopped keeping up on the manga. I sold all my DVDs and manga volumes, too. I just lost interest. Then I started keeping up with the manga again just for shits and giggles.

Also same! After Kagura and Kikyo died, I stayed to see Miroku and Sango get married. (He proposed to her and everything.) But... yeah, not looking good for Miroku at the moment. I'll be pissed if he dies after everything that's happened. :|

That would totally screw up his arc. I mean why introduce him as the one to end the curse on his clan, if he isn't going to be the one to do it. That and he was like my favorite character. God, I don't usually freak about character death, if he does die, thank god I won't be there to see it.

The series as a whole drives me up the wall.

It's the anime/manga that never ends! Yes it goes on and on my frriieennndds~ Well, then again, there are longer ones. But yeah, I agree. You can tell Rumiko ran out of ideas for it a long time ago.

Heck, even the anime people figured it out, they cancelled it because they couldn't keep up.

I don't know why she has the problem, I mean the thing is she has good premises, and decent characters at the beginning of her series, and than it just goes down the drain.

Hahaha, pretty much. The anime team went, "... fuck this shit" and ended it in a retarded way, and left.

I agree. People praise her work and how she's such a great manga artist. But she's awful at actually telling stories. I love Inuyasha's world and its characters. I love the idea of the story. But after awhile, the story plots kept getting recycled. Misc. story arc about Inuyasha's sword, new misc. enemy he has to kill to gain a new sword power, cut to a mini story about Inuyasaha in Kagome's world, return for story arc about Sesshomaru, now a story arc about Naraku's newest spawn, repeat.

Keep in mind that Rumiko's not ALLOWED to stop! The same thing happened with Ranma, she wanted to end AGES before but her editors didn't let her, same with Inu-Yasha, she wanted to end it YEARS ago but they just won't let her!

XD Considering there's STILL wank among the canon (H/G and R/Hr) and the main fanon (H/Hr), I don't know!

But the DP thing I think stems from the creator voicing his disapproval of slash and pornographic portrayals of his characters, so the fandom made this split with the enforcers who called themselves the "true fans" and they kind of took up this crusade to eliminate adult content in the fandom. I think the fandom's dying, though.

Second this. HP and FF7 completely rape Avatar-wank. @_@ I think I wanna say that the FF7 ship wars are worse though due to sheer age--it's been going on for over 10 years.

It's strange, because I've never been in the FF7 fandom and yet I've only begun to catch glimpses of the 'shipping wank just recently, but that may have something to do with my frequenting this comm now.

But christ on a cracker, if those sentiments persevere over ten years, I shudder to see the Potter fandom ten years from now O.o

Kagura was alright but Kikyo was obnoxious. I don't understand what's interesting about Mirouku. I actually sort of hate him. He is one of the only characters I've disliked since the beginning. He is the most redundant major character in the series and he comes across as an asshole half of the time. He's just gotten worse over the span of the manga.

39. Yeah. The only reason Im in the InuYasha fandom is because of Kikyo, Kohaku, and Sesshomaru. Naraku too I guess

Kikyo was awesome and had a very nice story. Her death was fitting. I got sick of Kohaku very early on. He got stuck with the same plot line over and over and over again. X_x

Sesshomaru is awesome. He's undergone a lot of character growth, I think. Perhaps the only character to do so. And Naraku is just a shitty villain. Seriously, he doesn't do anything half the time. :(

I love Kikyo. She's my favorite character in the whole series. I just like Kohaku's personality. Sesshomaru is just awesome (really, what more can I say?) And I don't like Naraku like I like the other characters, but I love reading smutty fanfic with him in it, LOL.
But I really don't like anyone else. I especially hate Kagome, but that has nothing to do with me being a fan of Kikyo; it's just her personality annoys me.

A lot of people hate Kagome. I can see and understand WHY, but at the same time, I like her more than some of the other characters. She's pretty strong and handles her situation well. XD
