They're speyshul.

First female knight + Magic, Cat, Friends in High Places.

Child of gods + Speyshul Abilities + Dragon + World-Hopping.

Kel is NORMAL and yet just as kickass. I may love the others, but her normalcy weights everything in her favor.

I never thought about it in terms of their being normal or not. And Kel was a little too goody-goody and calm. Alanna and her temper was more fun. You know how bad-tempered redheads will always stay close to my heart, and Daine + animals + Numair = much awesome/cute.

I do love Kel and I loved that she ended up being a kickass commander. She's just ranked third out of those three.
