She is less mean, without losing her "Morrigan-ness," which is what I particularly like about her in DAI.

Maybe she was there such a short amount of time that she didn't have time to annoy you like she may have done in Origins?

I'm the opposite. I was okay with her in Origins, she wasn't my fave, but I liked her. In Inquisition her attitude of "I know better than anyone" really ground my gears. It's completely IC and in many cases, yeah, she probably does have more knowledge than the Inquisition (minus Solas), but still, it's the kind of attitude that I just don't like.

I did like the scene she had with Flemeth. That was fantastic.

IDK, I sort of get it. I love Morrigan but in small doses. She's clever, funny and is given some of the best writing in Dragon Age, but she's definitely a strong personality. I stopped bringing her with me after a certain point in Origins because she was forever disapproving of everything I did (The Warden pets a cat, Morrigan disapproves, The Warden shows a smidgen of human emotion, Morrigan disapproves), and it was aggravating. Don't get me wrong, I still enjoyed talking to her at camp, and her friendship with The Warden is both sweet and complex, but she was nicer in Inquisition too and that makes a difference.

She has some great scenes in Inquisition (the whole Flemeth thing was amazing, and her banter with your party is great, especially if you bring Solas along. If you do that, it becomes absolutely hilarious after the reveal).

Plus, she's hotter than ever. (I need an icon of her. Yes, I'm shallow.)

The dress is amazing, though!

I never was a big fan of Morrigan (pretty neutral about her, really) but I thought she was okay in Inquisition. But damn, it was so awkwardly written when they kept having her explain very basic Dalish lore to the Dalish Inquisitor. I get that it was for the benefit of the player but it was so awkward listening to her going on and on about Dalish mythology 101 with Lavellan (AND Solas) standing right next to her.

I was pretty okay with her in Origins, but the development she shows in Inquisition was just amazing - it just feels like she has grown so much in the ten years since the Blight and I loved that. Also, her relationship with Kieran (assuming he exists) is adorable!

I also think Warden!Alistair had excellent development. King!Alistair is not as great, though still decent (the comics are better in that regard).

I think I liked most of the Origins characters better in Inquisition. This is the case for Morrigan, Leliana, Cullen, and Loghain at least - of course Cullen got a pretty extensive character overhaul for the express purpose of making him more likable, so that's not a surprise.
