I read that fic too.

Honestly, despite how "bad" everyone said it was, I just found it really over the top.

It's kind of funny to me that you had that reaction, though. Because I'm in a similar position: I have really small breasts that I'm hugely self-conscious about.

I suppose the only reason that I didn't try any of those enlarging options is that I knew they wouldn't work and so I didn't want to waste the money.

But I feel you OP. One of the ways I can easily tell that fic is written by dudes is how much focus there is on breasts and how they're often massive.

It sucks in a lot of ways because while I know not every guy prefers large breasts, it IS a MUCH more common in my culture and I always worry that anyone I get with is just going to be settling.

Of course, I've never put that theory to the test since I've never had a boyfriend.

This is the weirdest thing for me: there are SO MANY ways I can tell a fic is written by a dude, but it's so hard to pin most of the markers down, except for the focus on boobs.

"Settling"? Nah.

There are lots of straight men and queer women who like smaller breasts, and you'll probably find someone who's glad you didn't follow the crowd and add implants.

OP

That's exactly how I feel. That I'll find a good guy, but he's just going to be "settling" for me. I don't want anyone to have to settle.

Of course, there are many nice people in the comments below who will tell us that lots of guys will love our bodies for what they are -- and they may not be wrong.
