This is one of my favorite movies ever. I try to rewatch it every year. I don't remember the last time I willingly sat through Wizard of Oz.

To be fair, I'm not sure my opinions really have anything to do with JG specifically. The plot and overall production matters more to me than who the star is.

I open my holiday film watching with this one. I probably would say A Star is Born, or Summer Stock are on par with this (maybe Star is a bit better). Oz is probably in fourth place after that.

And I am a huge fan of the Oz books.
