I thought teenage Riddle was by far the creepiest. In the books as well as the movies.

I agree that teenage book Riddle is super-creepy.

I actually LOVE Tom Riddle as a character, I think he's fascinating.

But Ralph played Voldemort as a freaking cartoon character.

I mean, I know he never read the books, but you'd think the director or SOMEONE would correct him.

Maybe they were too intimidated? I don't know. But it's one of the things that bothers me most about the films (along with FLAWLESS!Hermoine and Useless!Ron).

I totally agree with you on Voldemort.

But it's one of the things that bothers me most about the films (along with FLAWLESS!Hermoine and Useless!Ron).

Though FLAWLESS!Hermione and Useless!Ron bothered me a thousand times worse. In fact, they singlehandedly made the films absolutely unpalatable to me. I guess movie!GOF was so shit in the first two hours that by the time it got to Voldemort, I had become incapable of being disappointed? IDK.
