Yeah, but Ford has been vocal before about thinking Han Solo ought to have been killed off and it is confirmed he only came back to this role because it gave him a chance to "do something big". Read it any way you want, but between Ford's own words and the leaks, it seems a pretty solid lock.

I just find it funny that you consider that a "pretty solid lock." To me, that means at least all but confirmed. To me this is a very probably theory, I even do think it is going to happen, but I still wouldn't call it confirmed or even solid.

This reminds me of the people who say that Jon Snow being Lianna Stark and Raegar Targaryen's child is canon. No. It is a theory. A probable theory, but still a theory until it is confirmed.

I guess people just have different ideas of what confirmed means.
