It makes sense that people would think Slytherins are bad just based on their founders rep and the fact that many of the house's former students went on to join a terrorist organization and start two wars. Not saying I agree, but it makes perfect sense.

(Anonymous) 2015-06-04 12:57 am (UTC)(link)Like, everyone seems to be fine with Lucius Malfoy being able to just say that he was mind controlled, outside of a handful of weirdo Gryffindors. And no one seems to object to Cornelius Fudge palling around with him.
so I'm not sure that people in wizarding society as a whole actually give a shit about the negative aspects of slytherin. they're certainly not depicted as doing so.
