The chapter starts with a fight between Sasuke, Shin, and Baldy. Sasuke evades and attacks them, much to the delight of Sarada. Baldy tells them his name is Shin Uchiha, and Sarada mentions how he has the same name as his son. An unamused ChouChou watches from the sidelines with a great popcorn.jpg shot as Sasuke then tells Naruto to take the kids and leave. But all is not what it seems and Baldy shows his true power! He can control weapons. In a hilarious show from Sasuke, his katana flies backwards into a bored looking Naruto's stomach. (It looks like Sasuke had terrible grip on his weapon and flung it backwards into Naruto, it's the highlight of the chapter)

Naruto reassures Sarada that he's fine and Baldy Shin waxes on about how peacetime stops evolution and how they're rusty blahblah. He then launches daggers at Sarada and a horrified Papasuke jumps in front of Sarada and uses his body to shield her-aww! It seems Sasuke is temporarily stunned and Baldy Shin is about to make the final blow when...Mamakura bamps in like a freight train and K.O.s baldy. And to the surprise of no one (Really Sarada's bio says in Japanese she is the 'child born of Sakura and Sasuke' lol) Sakura shouts at Baldy for attacking 'her husband and beloved child'. Finally, the Uchiha drama is over! What a twist!

Sakura asks who the Shins are and Sasuke asks why she's here. Sakura then apologizes to Sarada, and Sasuke apologizes to Sakura. In a rare sight, he takes blame for his actions and tells Sakura it's not her fault. But this is Naruto after all so fingers appears and kidnaps Sakura along with the injured Shins. The chapter ends with Baldy telling Sakura to take his injured kid's organs and put them inside of him, since she's the reason he's dying. Sakura tells him no, since he attacked her husband, child, and friend. He then tells her "So what" and she gives him a "bitch please" look. End of chapter!

Sakura does something useful... and then gets captured instantly after.

What a twist!

Actually, I'm laughing, because I imagine her Stans went from fistpumping over her being Sarada's bio Mom to freaking the fuck out when she was immediately kidnapped.

To be fair she had no time to react. It's just a plot device to have Sasuke go save her and talk to Sarada with no interruptions. My guess is she's going to stall since she doesn't want to kill the kid/help the villain. I'll laugh if he turns out to be Shisui

Or a plot device to further stall out the disconnected family atmosphere they have.

If he turns out to be Shisui, Naruto will officially become Marvel to me. No one really dies, except Uncle Ben and Jiraiya.

It's just little things. He's doing what Danzo did and Shisui's body was never found. He also has a hard on for Itachi

Sakura stans will eat anything, ANYTHING but this time she was truly badass I admit.

I find it funny that a lot of the anti-Sakura people are also burned Narusaku/SasuKarin/KakuSaku shippers who will hate her no matter what she does because she didn't bang the guy they wanted her to.

Sakura is my favorite and I ship KakaSaku. I just ignore the entirety of the end of Naruto.

But...The end of Naruto is entirely in character. Sakura never loved anyone but Sasuke, she spent all her time trying to be with Sasuke, she only joined Tsunade to save Sasuke. She's not...strong woman who need no man but her teacher who is 20+ years older.

Nope. She is nothing like the Sakura that was at the beginning and towards the middle of Shippuden. After the Pein arc, she regressed and became a caricature of herself.

I hate to admit it but I'm really enjoying Naruto Gaiden. Sakura and Sarada getting so much attention make it really fun.
