I am completely the opposite. I can watch fictional serial killers all the live long day. But shows and movies about the real ones? I usually stay away out of fear of having nightmares.

Even if it was an Avengers film instead of Captain America, given the trajectory of the MCU, it's kind of obvious that Steve is going to be the one in the right here.

A ton of Tony's problems are self-made or things he contributes to so I'm not sure how it would be otherwise.

Honestly, I've really rarely run into Fury bashing. Most of the time, he just gets ignored. I have seen people have the Avengers clash with him, but he's usually still on their side.

It's certainly not as pervasive as Dumbledore bashing.
