for fuck's sake really?

When are people going to learn that the proper way of expressing "I strongly disagree" isn't "kill yourself".

What a childish way to act.

(Anonymous) 2015-06-05 11:45 pm (UTC)(link)
I strongly disagree.

Are you the expression police? Unless the answer is yes, fuck off, you don't get to police what other people say.

(Anonymous) 2015-06-06 12:29 am (UTC)(link)
Weh weh weh

I'm sorry to break it to you but telling people to kill themselves is shitty. You can come up with all the "muh freedom of speeech" arguements you want, but just because you will not literally be thrown in jail for saying something does not mean its an appropriate thing to say.

Because guess what. Social rules are everywhere. They're not laws but if you don't follow them you'll look like an asshole.

But yea. Keep on defending your "right" to tell people to commit suicide. I'd like to see you try your "don't police MEH" shit when you got caught in the real world saying shitty things. When you're suspended from school in your mommy is driving you home, you can rant to her about how unfair it is that you can't just tell people to die.

When you get fired from your job, go ahead and whine to your boss that "THIS ISN'T FAIR, YOU CAN'T POLICE ME". Try telling your boss to "fuck off"

Oh wait. You're not going to do that in real life, because you'd face immediate consequences. The internet is your place to prance around like the entitled brat you are and preach about how you should be allowed to say anything you want and how dare anyone "police" you.

Welcome to society where, yes, others get to police what you say. That's how it works. It's how it's always worked. We come up with ideas of acceptable behavior and speech, what's polite, what's rude, etc. And when you do something or say something that isn't socially acceptable, you face consequences for it.

Grow up, kid. It ain't all about you.

How is #17 a fandom secret?

I mean, it is very interesting, but it's more about a news or social issue rather than an actual fandom thing.

You don't think the Duggars, who've had a TV show for a decade, have a fandom?
