Weekend Plans

I am FINALLY going to see Mad Max tomorrow. So now I won't feel like such a loser. :P There is also a (huge) herb festival tomorrow so my sister and I will probably swing by to see if there is anything of interest. Other than those two (awesome) things, just the normal chores and such.

What are you all going to be doing this weekend?

Housecleaning, buying birthday presents for people, applying for jobs, preparing the apartment for termite fumigation.

For some reason, I read that first one as "headhunting" and got really confused.

Got a lot of birthdays coming up? Also, I HATE having to fumigate. It takes so much time to prepare. -__-

I have a birthday party for my sister-in-law (who I don't like) to go to. And it's going to be a belated Mother's Day for my mom since my brother couldn't get his act together on Mother's Day. But, of course, my sister-in-law gets to pick the restaurant, not my mom. :(

On a happier note, our annual huge used book sale is starting. I'll be spending all Saturday browsing through the selection for a year's worth of reading material. :)

My class is going surfing again tomorrow, so I'll be going to that. Then I have to help break down a set for a different class.

Plus I've decided to watch Ore Monogatari, so I'll be doing that.

I mean, and I'll be studying for my finals. But those suck, and I want to pretend those aren't a thing. :I

FINALLY. Also wow cool a herb festival, when you get back from it what did you get? I'm picking up thyme and oregano from bunnings today (so I can work out if the plant in my pot is either of those or a weed...) oh and window sealant because it's fucking 5 degrees in the house that's 5 degrees off freezing. Oh and dog hiking gear.

Tomorrow I'm taking the dog hiking for the long weekend/4 month anniversary. May have a coworker joining me, depending on how his nephew's birthing goes.

I'm hoping there won't be other people in the area cause most people go to the snow this weekend so i'm effectively going the opposite direction lol.

I am hoping there will be 1-2 beekeepers. I really want to start beekeeping but have no idea where to start.

I wish I could take our dog hiking but he is an asshole and tugs most of the time. We got one of those no-pull harnesses and that helps.

I'm working this weekend and preparing for my niece to drive in from Austin on Monday. We're going to pick her daughter up in Spartenburg and hang out for a couple of days up there.

Reading lots of books, pretty boring. The rest of my family is either at a wedding or have other plans, so I'll just be hanging with friends and relaxing.

Going on vacation next weekend with my parents in Nashville with some other friends too, so that'll be exciting.

Enjoy the herb festival, that sounds interesting. What sort of things do they do?
