I would do a ton of traveling. But if I had to choose some specifics, I would check out the future, see what movies are coming out, if we've annihilated ourselves, what technology we've made, what the view on fandom now is, etc.

I would also go to Rome and Sumerian cities. I'd also check out Celtic tribes. And North America during the Ice Age. I'm curious about places where there isn't much written documentation to show what life was really like. Plus, I have a hard time really picturing the daily life of Rome.
