When you say melee you mean melee and not unarmed, right? I freaked out for a second thinking I was going to need to fight with just my fists, lmao. I've done... A lot in this game so I've maxed out about 7 skills, melee being one of them. Now I'm glad I wasted all that time running around the Mojave.

This DLC (Dead Money) sounds nigh unbearable going by what everyone has said, and a part of me just wants to skip it entirely, but I paid for it so I feel like I should do it... At least the one time. Not looking forward to it, though.

I'm glad you liked both Honest Hearts and Old World Blues! At least not all the DLC is meh.

(I don't want to part with Arcade either, but after I finish some of these DLC I'll have to. If I ever want to see the ending, lol. Maybe it'll turn out okay! I hope so, I love him. And Boone... And most of my companions.)

As for Lonesome Road, I'm level 39 now but I can't remember what level I was when I started LR. (Mostly because I started before I took a break from the game, and that was forever ago.) Do you like deathclaws? Lonesome Road has a shitton of those, so I'd say come prepared. Other than one particular enemy (That can two hit kill you no matter how your stats are; it took me about six tries to shoot it in the head first) I felt it was... Doable? Not necessarily easy, but if you had the right equipment and were well leveled it was fine. Just lots of fighting and/or hunting (If you want to complete the achievements).

yeah, melee. the creatures in dead money are not effected by your bullets (as far as i remember) and so i was reduced to using a spear to kill them quite often. BUT, Old World Blues gave me a healthy appreciation for the melee skill (no bullets, about 10 nightstalkers chasing me as i ran backwards swiping at them with an ax. i killed them so dead). so much so, that i started a game with a character specializing in melee instead of guns.

i really liked the characters in Dead Money, so there's that to look forward to at least. but that bomb collar and the poison gas, uggggggghhhhh.

i think i've maxed out my levels? i want to say i'm level fifty? i don't even have to fight anymore hardly because Arcade usually shoots things before i even see them.

deathclaws scare the shit out of me, but i'm pretty good at playing ring-around-rosy with creatures... though deathclaws are bit faster than i like. (one time i had nothing but a plank with a nail and me and super mutant chased each other around a rock for like 10 mins before i final killed him, lol.)

Ooo, I haven't run into many creatures I couldn't kill with bullets, so that's interesting. I'm glad I have melee skills covered too.

10 nightstalkers does not sound fun...

If you've maxed out levels I'm sure Lonesome Road will be nothing to you. Even at the level I was it was doable, so I imagine it'll be easy for you! You should play it, it's pretty good. (Arcade is good at that, yes!)
