Advocating pro better written female characters is good but people are getting so OTT and SJWish about it that, frankly, it seems more like an ad hominem argument against het and female characters than anything else.
For some of y'all women can't win.
One gotta be realistic too, it's just a silly movie with more than one plot device that could get better writing, it's not like the male characters and their own relationships have all this depth and are well written. Pick a different movie and a different genre guys.


still a better love story than twilight and Nicholas Sparks, though.
