Right? I just joined my first Roleplaying game in like, eight years, and Katou was always a strong muse, so I decided to reread the series and fell in love all over again.

Also I cosplayed Lucifer once~

It was super awesome. Probably the most badass I've felt in my entire life.
Actually, funny story, it was seeing an image of Lucifer in this getup that made me read AS in the first place! ...and then of course I had to cosplay him, too :)

Holy shit, that cosplay is amazing. I can't imagine how much time must have gone into that. But yeah, I can imagine one would feel pretty badass in that getup.

Luci is absolutely one of my favourite characters in the series.

Hee you also call him Luci. He's definitely one of my favorites too. I was so sad at the end when he kind of lost his personality and didn't remember Setsuna.

Thanks ^^. Took me about 10 months to make, though I was working off-and-on. Part of the time investment was making the mask from scratch, making the chestplate open so that I would be able to unscrew the mask and also store my cellphone in it, and including the armblade.

So sad. D= Oh man, the whole Kira storyline kinda breaks my heart sometimes.

That's amazing! I've never been able to make my own cosplay (I made my own Ban from Getbackers cosplay once and it was pretty terrible, but now I have friends that sew so I get commission them to make me pretty things). And that armblade is so cool.

Was the official translation of Angel Sanctuary any good? The only scans I could find had really mangled grammar and syntax.

I really disliked the official translation. I don't remember what exactly about it it was (other than weird name decisions like turning "Voice" to "Boyz" which I guess could be a fair translation but whhhhy), but the fan translations do get better once you can get through the first few volumes.
