What colors would go best with olive green as a contrasting color? I'm thinking shades like pinky-coral, deep orchid, fuchsia. Any other ideas?

The pinkish/magenta tones you've already mentioned would be great for a bright contrast. If you were looking for something a little more neutral, cream/camel or pale orangey-yellows might work too.

Olive goes well with most things though so don't be afraid of experimenting to see what looks best with your own individual coloring.

Oooh, a pale yellow...I like that idea! Thanks, anon!

Gold, cream, orange, pink, brown, reds as long as they don't get too fire-engine-y... Just about anything but grey, black, or blue I reckon.

Okay, maybe not lime green.

How do I watch j-dramas? A friend recommended me one and I want to give it a try, but I don't expect to find it on Netflix at all. Is there any legal way to watch them, subbed in English? Or is streaming the only option?

Are they on viki.com or is that just K-dramas?

Drama Fever is great, but the selection is still a bit small. I love the k-drama selection though, and that the service is free with an ad-free (with hd) subscription option.

Viki has dramas and cartoons from all over, but they also tend to have missing seasons for some of their j/k series. Like s2 onwards, or up to a certain one.

Crackle, Crunchyroll, and Netflix (ofc, the only one with mandatory payment) are Assisi worth a check. Crunchyroll especially.

For streaming I use gooddrama.net

Anyone know this version of Take Me to church?

Recorded on phone so sorry for quality.

That just sounds like the radio version, but sped up and with a techno background, right? As far as I know not official.

I do know there were two versions I heard on the radio that Hozier did, one is a little jazzier and calmer, and one is a bit more haunting imo, do you mean the difference between those?

That is not the radio version. It might be something that gets played on your local station, but check the official version:

Totally different tempo, no drum.

Well yeah, that's why I said someone added the background bit and sped it up. I should've just specified I meant a remix. But there are two versions of the song Hozier made, so I thought maybe OP wanted the second version if they'd only heard the first one or something.

Yeah, that's the trouble with modern radio... stations that have DJs will often do a remix that gets played on the station but isn't an album version. So people hear it on the radio all the time and then it's nowhere to be found otherwise.

Couldn't tell because of distortion on phone but, this maybe?

Omg, I think that is it! How can a radio station play a random remix of a song. I thought you had to pay certain fees.

Ehhh intellectual property laws. Technically you don't have to pay fees unless the artist that did the remix has released a CD or single for profit and the remix is thus subject to normal licensing fees.

But in order to do that they need permission to release it as a single. You can remix whatever you want as long as you aren't trying to sell it, most of the time. Libraries of song samples and sound bytes exist that are open source or public use for making electronic music, but in order to sample a well-known song with intent to profit, artists have to pay for a license to do so.

At least, that's how I understand it to function in Canada.
