I'm not going to lie, my first thought was that you were talking about the AUTHOR of Lackadaisy. I thought maybe some scandal had erupted about her, a la the "Hanna is Not a Boy's Name" creator. Then I read further and was relieved.

More on topic: The only thing I really disliked her for was forging a check from Wick. That just felt, I don't know, even MORE illegal than running a speakeasy to me. Maybe because forging/stealing money is still a crime and selling alcohol isn't?

I liked it when Mitzi May was throwing things out of her window because of the sheer anger she had over her finances. She looked great doing it, too, thanks to Lackadaisy's phenomenal art. Even when Mitzi is ruthless, she looks pretty.

I'm sorry for not having anything more relevant to say (people like asshole characters all the time and I don't think it makes you a terrible person for finding them interesting or whatever), but that art is adorable. Seriously, adorable.

so I just checked this comic out and wow, I like the art.

Though setting anthropomorphic cats into a real-life historical setting is a bit odd to me.

Still, I might give it a go.
