Re: Religion?

By "join religion" for us non-religious people, do you mean genuinely and authentically convert and start to believe something? Or do you mean simply "officially" join a religion and participate in its community?

I'm not sure what would make me convert or actually develop beliefs, but I'm not adverse to say joining a church or other religious tradition if, for example, it was really important to my partner. I'd be clear about my beliefs, but I'm not fussed about eating the bread, drinking the wine, and badly singing the hymns - or letting my potential kids be baptized, or marrying in a church, or whatever.

It wouldn't be my first choice since I generally find religious traditions more boring than anything else, but I'd participate for someone else.
