What does it matter whether it's a girl or a boy? What does it matter what color shirt they're wearing, or if they're wearing a skirt, or a bow in their hair?

The issue, as you've reiterated here yourself - while then going on to utterly contradict yourself as usual - is that a kid is in distress and THAT is what needs to be addressed. If having a kid wearing pink makes those around them react differently to their distress, why the fuck would you want to perpetuate that kind of "girls can cry, boys can't therefore we'll pay more attention to a girl's distress than a boy's" thinking?

Why does 'confusion' matter if there's a child in distress? Who cares what color they're wearing? Do you just not call 911 if a boy's fallen off his bike and broken his arm, but you do if it's a kid wearing pink therefore obviously a girl? Would you react differently to a black child crying than you would a white child crying? Who the fuck cares WHAT the child is -- if you're applying a qualifier to their distress then that's the problem.

I feel like we're on different wavelegths here. Maybe I'm not making myself clear.

"What does it matter whether it's a girl or a boy?"
Pronounces. Calling an unfamiliar kid a girl or a boy. Small kids look alike and have the same hairdos so it might be difficult.

"What does it matter what color shirt they're wearing, or if they're wearing a skirt, or a bow in their hair?"
I was just wondering if you have an opinion about dresses for small girls because, in a sense, it's the same as pink clothes - it's mostly worn by girls.

"is that a kid is in distress and THAT is what needs to be addressed."
The kid in question was me so I don't understand your anger here. It comes across angry...

I said that boys can cry in the post you've replied to. I said: "it's as if kids should cope with distress differently depending on their gender, which is wrong." meaning that they shouldn't cope differently. Boys and girls can cry.

I really don't enjoy arguing when accusations are flung around and I feel bad when I'm misunderstood so sorry in advance if I don't reply farther.

... again, why does that matter? if you call a boy a "girl" or call a girl a "boy" accidentally, the kid will correct you. then you'll know. what exactly is the problem that's occurring here??

DA

I really, really hope you're very young. As in 15-16. Because if you're any older than that and aren't trolling then I'm not sure I've ever run across anyone as deliberately obtuse and stupid as you are.
