Say "Thank you for the compliment, but I don't think I'm going to continue this story. I'm glad you liked it!" or something. People wanting sequels just means they'll care about your other stuff too, because they'll check back (usually.)

I usually just say "I may, if the mood strikes me." But, I'm terrible at leaving things open for sequels. I don't know how to end shit.

Unfortunately, that doesn't necessarily mean people will stop asking. It gets frustrating when you've explicitly said there won't be a sequel to get "reviews" that are literally just "so where's the sequel?"

Huh. This image makes me think the OP might be someone in my fandom, but even if you're not, OP, the fact that people ask if you'll write more is a good sign; it usually means they'll read new stuff you post as well. And if anyone gets pushy or rude, ignore them and focus on your polite fans.
