Agree for the films. I finally saw the sequel recently and, no. But I still like the games if that's what you meant. Downpour was pretty good imo. A little shoddy on backstory between Murray and his son but otherwise good - Anna even got her own comic! I think there's still really good stories to be made into SH games. (goddamnit auto-correct)

No, I want the whole series to die. As far as I'm concerned the series should've remained a trilogy. I'm one of the few people who was actually happy that the new one was canceled.

Oh, I gotcha. I think the first four games were best tbh. I appreciate the others more because I like the town of Silent Hill and how it affects different people. To each his own though. ^-^

The 4th one had some interesting ideas but I thought the execution was shit. But I've been extremely unhappy with the franchise pretty much since.

For what it's worth I don't like the idea that Silent Hill as a setting should be mined as extensively as it has. A big part of why the games worked was because of its ambiguity.
