It's not a sequel so much as an expansion, but I really liked The Answer for Persona 3. My problem with a lot of sequels is that they revert to form, undoing the accomplishments of the characters in the original so they can be redone from the start. The Answer takes a story that ended abruptly and continues on logically from there, showing why the story was unfinished and providing closure for the problems that remained.
