Same. When I was a kiddo, I used to be so wary of other kids finding out my whole last name. They'd say such rassist shit, rhyming it with animals, and making sounds like, "ching chong chang! burka durka hamala hamala!" (I'm not Asian or... Arab?). Hurtful things to a young growing brat, man :'(

I got over it though, and now I hypocritically find it hilarious when folk purposefully misspell a white person's name. Vic Manana, Beneduck Cumberbutts, Livio Ramen Deli... Except for the obvious times when it isn't (like with Vic), I usually get the impression that it's good-natured and silly. Or maybe I am now the monsters idk :)

People used to do stuff (well, one particular thing) with my last name, and I have the blandest white name on earth. Little kids are just assholes and looking for easy targets. Every name that sounds like anything is going to get mocked.
