I've always thought he was a good actor, but idk, I couldn't stand his Bane voice and it always seemed like he was putting on some kind of weird voice for the roles I'd seen him in. Mad Max just let me enjoy his acting and his pretty face (I did really like the character and story way more than TDKR).

That's fair! I find his Bane voice amusing but I wouldn't say I'm a massive fan. Sometimes you just don't dig people's accents or whatever, and hearing an actor or actresses 'normal' voice is preferable. (At least you finally found a role you liked him in?)
