Oh god, wrestling is melodramatic as fuck. It's what sold me in the first place. Just so much fun.

Right now, a bunch of us are praying for mask dude to shed his evil corporate persona and become a good guy with his evil pyromaniac demon persona again instead. Once beard dude is cleared from injury (which in-universe was probably caused by mask dude), I would love for them to join forces as an anti-Authority axis of awesome once more.

I, for one, am hoping he picks J&J as his minions.

YES! YES! YES!

(I was legit tearing up watching Seth beat up Joey and Jamie. Like SETH DO YOU NOT REALIZE THESE GUYS LOVED YOU? WHY CAN'T YOU REALIZE WHEN PEOPLE LOVE YOU? WHY MUST YOU DESTROY EVERYTHING GOOD IN YOUR LIFE?)

Melodrama, thy name is wrestling.

Seth really does have so many issues. Him slapping Jamie was like a punch to my soul. And, Joey being protective of Jamie once again. Ahhh. (After the cameras cut at EC, Seth was yelling at Jamie, who had tried to comfort him, and Joey stepped between them.)

Though, I'm torn between J&J being Kane's minions and J&J becoming Dean's "security" (basically they hang around Dean and he tolerates them just to rub it in Seth's face that he has everything that was once Seth's - Roman, the title, and now J&J).

anti-Authority axis of awesome is definitely what they should call themselves. (If not that it would make a fantastic band name.)

I just love that he HAS an evil pyromaniac demon persona in the first place. I don't remember wrestling being this ~complex~ or story-driven, though maybe that's partly because I was never too into it in the first place (or I didn't notice), or maybe it was just too long ago for me to have a clear picture of it.

Edited to add that I'm enjoying the hell out of these wrestling secrets even though I am clueless about the people involved.

Wrestling is basically soap operas for men. Saying that always kind of makes me eyeroll, but it's the truth. Kane's (masked dude) been in the business about twice as long as I've watched, and he's one of the more consistent characters, haha. I've always enjoyed him.

Soap operas but with more violence, more scantily clad men and women and (presumably) just as many plot twists.

I watched Kane back in the day, but didn't recognize him!
