I'm in an awkward position about this stuff because I was a media/journalism student, and the vibes I get from people (who these people are is another story) are that professional media's time is up while user-generated content is the bright future. And I just...why do you think the local citizen/indie journalism sites are as a category better than your dreaded MSM? Are the pictures people secretly take of each other doing things in public better than tabloid fluff? Are the populist spins suddenly not spins? Why can't we admit they're all up to the necks in ethical issues.

And back to your comment, I do agree that I'd want paparazzi restrictions.
