Then again, the actress is a female named Blake, which is worse than Adaline by a mile...

i actually paid to see this movie

if it hadn't had that stupid voiceover (or that pseudoscientific explanation for why she's immortal) it would have been 10x better IMO. i wish they hadn't done that cop-out at the end with her finding a grey hair. (lol oh no!)

i also thought it was hilarious how she's always perfectly put-together and has almost as many outfits as padme amidala in the star wars prequels.

i was totally expecting the elderly daughter to die, and was surprised when that didn't happen.

THAT NARRATOR WAS THE FUCKING WORST! I assure you, I would have understood what was going on onscreen with you holding my hand and walking me through it + the science-y descriptions were not necessary.

It was pure fluff, and I can appreciate it for what it was, but afterwards I kind of wanted a darker film that was just Clint Eastwood's character's point of view. He had his own mini paranoia/horror movie there for like half an hour.

(Disclaimer: This might just be because I thought his son was really boring as a character.)
