Are there any kinks out there that you normally hate unless they're done in a very specific way? (example: I normally hate underage fic...but I really like it under the circumstances where an adult character is physically regressed to a young age but still has the mind of an adult)

Alternatively, do you have any kinks that you're embarrassed about for some reason or another?

Power issues really only work for me in a fantasy context. What I mean is where there the power dynamics in the characters' non-sex life. Like boss/employee. Most of the time I can only handle it if the boss is the submissive one in the sexual/romantic relationship. However, for some reason I really love extreme power dynamics in a fantasy setting.

I'm also embarrassed by how much I've been enjoying dubcon lately. The kind where the character themselves can't decide if they want it or not. They don't say no, but maybe within context they really can't. They are reluctant but also really enjoying themselves.

Oh man, yeah. There was a post somewhere about what 50 Shades would be like if Christian was the rich, attractive, millionaire, CEO sub looking for Ana to be his dom and I just thought, "...hot damn, I'd read that."

And also that dubcon is the best kind of dubcon. Or at least it is as long as the author knows they're writing dub/noncon.

BDSM. I can't read it if it has humiliation or feminization (which is usually combined with humiliation).

I hate both those things. Feminization because it usually tends to imply that submissive=feminine and humiliation because it just squicks me and I just don't get it.

Same. I can't stand humiliation in any form, but humiliation coupled with any kind of power-play or dominance just crosses a line from kink to cruelty for me.

Agreed. I really wish humiliation was less common in BDSM stuff, because I'm into just about every other aspect of it. It's just that one facet that makes me...well, kind of queasy.

Humiliation just always seemed so dumb to me, since the person getting 'humiliated' wants to actually do that stuff so...why feel bad?

I only like knotting fic when it's non-con. to be even more specific, I only REALLY like it when it involves a character being raped and their boyfriend/whatever discovers the rape and wants to stop it but has to watch it continue because the rapist can't...er, disengage while knotted without seriously hurting the other person. I can't believe I just typed that.

You just reminded me of that episode of Stargate SG-1 where aliens clone Jack, but something goes wrong and it's his adult mind in his body as it was at 15. In the end, he decides to relive his life and goes back to high school and almost immediately starts leering at teenage girls.

If you were unaware of that episode, I *think* a lot of fic was born from it.

I keep thinking possession would be an interesting kink, if only I could find fic or art where it didn't look completely stupid or just laughably silly.

It's one of those "theoretical yes" kinks, but I've just never been able to enjoy it.

I will have to look into this.

Also, I'm not really ashamed of any of my kinks. They're just kinks and they don't reflect reality. Most of the time they're just on paper kinks, even.

I agree, except that I'd say my kink is feminine men. I like men who choose to be feminine, but a man being feminized by his partner, whether forced or not, is not a turn on at all.

There are a few kinks I can only stand when they acknowledged in-world that they are fucked up.

Non-con obviously being one. Incest (which isn't realy my kink either way, but I can be non-quicked if it's portrayed an unhealthy I guess)

It is hard to find MMF stuff where:

1. everyone looks like they're enjoying themselves
2. there's no domination or cuckold theme
3. the MM action is actually bisexual.

Re: #3, the best RP experience I ever had was a thread where my character (a woman) got into a threesome with two men, who were also both into each other. Everyone was fucking everyone equally and it was sensational. It really is a shame that you don't see more of that sort of set-up.

I agree with this. I get unreasonably irritated that FFM things can have girl on girl action but MMF usually doesn't have guy on guy.

Yup, this is my problem when searching for MMF stuff as well, I want everyone doing each other not just the dudes only doing the lady while trying not to touch each other at all, it's such a turn-off.
