I love my roommate. I love her dearly. She's a good friend. But.

I am so glad I'm not going to have to deal with her grade stuff when she moves out. I mean, holy fuck, you'd have thought she had gotten a D or an F from her reaction to her final grade.

Her actual grade? An 88.93%

And she won't talk to anyone at student health, which means I get to deal with her mental health issues re: her grades.

Living without her will be helpful in that regard.

I'm sorry you had to put up with that, but I sympathize with her. I grew up with very strict parents, who WOULD see an 88.93% as something close to a D, and who would have thought seeking mental help for that distress would be like going to the emergency room for a paper cut: hyperbolic and childish to the point of being shameful.

Just saying. :/

No, I know that her mom fucked her up. Hell, her mom knows that she fucked her up. I do feel sorry for her in that regard, but it's still really frustrating to have to deal with, you know? I'm not a trained professional, I can't help her. I don't know how, and she stopped going to the therapy at school who could.

That's relieving, not having to put up with her stress. It is kind that you listened, but it being taxing on yourself (as you said, you're not equipped to deal with it) isn't necessarily worth that.
